I'm an IT enthusiast, tinkerer, and software developer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Throughout this time, I've played with numerous technologies, with macOS and iOS app development being my favorite and primary focus.
I have extensive knowledge of the Apple ecosystem, I'm proficient in Swift, Objective-C, and I'm unafraid to delve into C/C++. My hands-on experience with SwiftUI, UIKit/AppKit, testing, various platform frameworks, and design patterns makes me confident to contribute to new projects and produce clean, reusable code. As a long time Apple products user I've internalized their Human Interface Guidelines, and attention to deliver best UX. My time working as a Scrum Master taught me the importance of teamwork and delivering practical solutions for users. I value honesty and transparency in my collaborations.
Outside of work, I enjoy building electronic sound machines and exploring the wilderness on my bike.

I joined Volt to lead the end-to-end development of the iOS SDK used by merchants to integrate Volt payments into their applications. My role spans SDK architecture design, hands-on implementation of roadmap features in close collaboration with product owners and partner teams, and ensuring a smooth and predictable integration experience for merchants. To maintain a high-quality and sustainable codebase, I rely on CI/CD automation, comprehensive testing, regular code reviews, and a pragmatic approach that balances modern APIs with long-term backward compatibility.
I returned to professional software development in early 2021 and have since worked as a freelance iOS and macOS developer on a broad range of commercial and independent projects. Over this period, I delivered more than ten applications and long-term engagements, often taking full ownership of architecture, implementation, maintenance, and client communication. My work spans modern SwiftUI-based macOS apps, legacy Objective-C codebases with long production histories, and system-level Apple frameworks. I’ve worked both independently and within distributed teams, participated in code reviews, managed dependencies, and maintained a strong focus on correctness, performance, and long-term maintainability—especially important for desktop applications with extended lifecycles.
An unexpected and experimental turn in my career. I needed to step out of my comfort zone and learn how to successfully deliver products not only tasks. I was working closely with development teams helping them achieve better performance.
Here my dream about writing apps for Apple devices came true. I've learned Objective-C by working on multiple iOS and OSX apps. It was also the time when Swift was introduced and I was organizing local community events that helped exchange the knowledge.
My journey with programming started in web development. I've been creating websites for friends, then clients. Programming mostly in PHP and Javascript, getting around browser quirks. I was one man army: from slicing PSD files to database design and server configuration.
